A vulnerability classified as problematic has been found in MBS UBR-01 Mk II, UBR-02 and UBR-LON. Affected is an unknown functionality of the file wwwupdate.cgi of the component URL Parameter Handler. An unauthenticated remote attacker can obtain valid session tokens because they are exposed in plaintext within the URL parameters of the wwwupdate.cgi endpoint in UBR.
The weakness was disclosed by Adrien Rey as mbs-2025-0001. The advisory is shared for download at mbs-solutions.de. This vulnerability is traded as CVE-2025-41772 since 04/16/2025. The exploitability is told to be easy. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploitation doesn't require any form of authentication. Upgrading to version 6.0.1.0 eliminates this vulnerability.
