Detailsinfo

A vulnerability, which was classified as critical, was found in budibase up to 3.23.22. This affects an unknown code block of the file packages/server/src/integrations/postgres.ts. The manipulation of the argument password with an unknown input leads to a os command injection vulnerability. CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-78. The product constructs all or part of an OS command using externally-influenced input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special elements that could modify the intended OS command when it is sent to a downstream component. This is going to have an impact on confidentiality, integrity, and availability. The summary by CVE is:

Budibase is a low code platform for creating internal tools, workflows, and admin panels. In 3.23.22 and earlier, the PostgreSQL integration constructs shell commands using user-controlled configuration values (database name, host, password, etc.) without proper sanitization. The password and other connection parameters are directly interpolated into a shell command. This affects packages/server/src/integrations/postgres.ts.
