Details
A vulnerability classified as critical has been found in Neo4j Enterprise edition up to 5.26.21/2026.01.3. Affected is some unknown functionality of the component UserInfo Endpoint. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a authorization vulnerability. CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-863. This allows attackers to bypass intended access restrictions. This is going to have an impact on confidentiality, integrity, and availability. CVE summarizes:
Excessive caching of authentication context in Neo4j Enterprise edition versions prior to 2026.01.4 leads to authenticated users inheriting the context of the first user who authenticated after restart.
