Cisco FWSM 3.x before 3.1(3.2), when authentication is configured to use "aaa authentication match" or "aaa authentication include", allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (device reboot) via a long HTTP request.

The bug was discovered 02/14/2007. The weakness was disclosed 02/15/2007 (Website). The advisory is shared at cisco.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2007-0965 since 02/15/2007. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation.
