A vulnerability, which was classified as critical, has been found in phpCC Beta 4.2. This issue affects an unknown code block of the file nickpage.php. The manipulation of the argument npid with an unknown input leads to a sql injection vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-89. The product constructs all or part of an SQL command using externally-influenced input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special elements that could modify the intended SQL command when it is sent to a downstream component. SQL injection vulnerability in nickpage.php in phpCC 4.2 beta and earlier allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands via the npid parameter in a sign_gb action.
The weakness was published 02/13/2007 by ajann (Website). It is possible to read the advisory at vupen.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2007-0985 since 02/16/2007.
