Details
A vulnerability was found in Google Clasp up to 3.1.x. It has been classified as critical. Affected is an unknown functionality of the component Filenames Handler. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a path traversal vulnerability. CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-22. The product uses external input to construct a pathname that is intended to identify a file or directory that is located underneath a restricted parent directory, but the product does not properly neutralize special elements within the pathname that can cause the pathname to resolve to a location that is outside of the restricted directory. This is going to have an impact on confidentiality, integrity, and availability. CVE summarizes:
Path Traversal in Clasp impacting versions < 3.2.0 allows a remote attacker to perform remote code execution via a malicious Google Apps Script project containing specially crafted filenames with directory traversal sequences.
