autobrr qui up to 1.14.1 cross-domain policy

CVSS Meta Temp Score
CVSS is a standardized scoring system to determine possibilities of attacks. The Temp Score considers temporal factors like disclosure, exploit and countermeasures. The unique Meta Score calculates the average score of different sources to provide a normalized scoring system.
Current Exploit Price (≈)
Our analysts are monitoring exploit markets and are in contact with vulnerability brokers. The range indicates the observed or calculated exploit price to be seen on exploit markets. A good indicator to understand the monetary effort required for and the popularity of an attack.
CTI Interest Score
Our Cyber Threat Intelligence team is monitoring different web sites, mailing lists, exploit markets and social media networks. The CTI Interest Score identifies the interest of attackers and the security community for this specific vulnerability in real-time. A high score indicates an elevated risk to be targeted for this vulnerability.

Detailsinfo

A vulnerability has been found in autobrr qui up to 1.14.1 and classified as problematic. This vulnerability affects some unknown processing. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a cross-domain policy vulnerability. The CWE definition for the vulnerability is CWE-942. The product uses a cross-domain policy file that includes domains that should not be trusted. As an impact it is known to affect confidentiality, integrity, and availability. CVE summarizes:

qui is a web interface for managing qBittorrent instances. Versions 1.14.1 and below use a permissive CORS policy that reflects arbitrary origins while also returning Access-Control-Allow-Credentials: true, effectively allowing any external webpage to make authenticated requests on behalf of a logged-in user. An attacker can exploit this by tricking a victim into loading a malicious webpage, which silently interacts with the application using the victim's session and potentially exfiltrating sensitive data such as API keys and account credentials, or even achieving full system compromise through the built-in External Programs manager. Exploitation requires that the victim access the application via a non-localhost hostname and load an attacker-controlled webpage, making highly targeted social-engineering attacks the most likely real-world scenario. This issue was not fixed at the time of publication.

The advisory is available at github.com. This vulnerability was named CVE-2026-30924 since 03/07/2026. The exploitation appears to be easy. The attack can be initiated remotely. Successful exploitation requires user interaction by the victim. The technical details are unknown and an exploit is not available.

The vulnerability scanner Nessus provides a plugin with the ID 303457 (Linux Distros Unpatched Vulnerability : CVE-2026-30924), which helps to determine the existence of the flaw in a target environment.
