A vulnerability, which was classified as critical, was found in LabRedesCefetRJ WeGIA up to 3.6.6. Affected is the function loadBackupDB of the component SQL File Parser. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a sql injection vulnerability. CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-89. The product constructs all or part of an SQL command using externally-influenced input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special elements that could modify the intended SQL command when it is sent to a downstream component. WeGIA is a web manager for charitable institutions. In versions 3.6.5 and 3.6.6, the loadBackupDB() function imports SQL files from uploaded backup archives without any content validation. An attacker can craft a backup archive containing arbitrary SQL statements that create rogue administrator accounts, modify existing passwords, or execute any database operation. This was introduced in commit 370104c. This issue was patched in version 3.6.7.
The advisory is shared for download at github.com. This vulnerability is traded as CVE-2026-33133 since 03/17/2026. The exploitability is told to be easy.
