A vulnerability, which was classified as problematic, has been found in MailEnable up to 10.54. This issue affects some unknown functionality of the file ManageShares.aspx of the component Webmail Interface. The manipulation of the argument SelectedIndex with an unknown input leads to a cross site scripting vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-79. MailEnable versions prior to 10.55 contain a reflected cross-site scripting vulnerability in the webmail interface that allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary JavaScript in a victim's browser by crafting a malicious URL. Attackers can inject malicious code through the SelectedIndex parameter in the ManageShares.aspx form, which is not properly sanitized before being embedded into dynamically generated JavaScript.
The weakness was presented by Egidio Romano. The advisory is shared at mailenable.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2026-32850 since 03/16/2026. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation.
