Grok Developments NetProxy 4.03 allows remote attackers to bypass URL filtering via a request that omits "http://" from the URL and specifies the destination port (:80).
The weakness was disclosed 02/27/2007 by Craig Heffner (Website). The advisory is shared at milw0rm.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2007-1224 since 03/02/2007. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation.
