The manipulation of the argument path_to_news with an unknown input leads to a code injection vulnerability. The CWE definition for the vulnerability is CWE-94. Multiple PHP remote file inclusion vulnerabilities in aWeb Labs aWebNews 1.5 allow remote attackers to execute arbitrary PHP code via a URL in the path_to_news parameter to (1) listing.php or (2) visview.php.
The weakness was published 03/01/2007 (Website). The advisory is shared for download at securityfocus.com. This vulnerability was named CVE-2007-1247 since 03/03/2007.
