Unspecified vulnerability in Local Security Authority Subsystem Service (LSASS) in Microsoft Windows 2000 SP4, XP SP2, and Server 2003 SP1 and SP2 allows local users to gain privileges via a crafted local procedure call (LPC) request.

The bug was discovered 01/08/2008. The weakness was disclosed 01/08/2008 by Thomas Garnier (kyREcon) with SkyRecon as MS08-002 as confirmed bulletin (Technet). The advisory is available at microsoft.com. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2007-5352 since 10/10/2007. The attack needs to approached within the local network. No form of authentication is required for exploitation. The technical details are unknown and an exploit is not available. This vulnerability is assigned to T1068 by the MITRE ATT&CK project.
