A vulnerability was found in wisdom Pegasus CMS 1.0 and classified as critical. This issue affects an unknown code block of the file extra_fields.php of the component Parameter Handler. The manipulation of the argument action with an unknown input leads to a path traversal vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-22. The product uses external input to construct a pathname that is intended to identify a file or directory that is located underneath a restricted parent directory, but the product does not properly neutralize special elements within the pathname that can cause the pathname to resolve to a location that is outside of the restricted directory. Pegasus CMS 1.0 contains a remote code execution vulnerability in the extra_fields.php plugin that allows unauthenticated attackers to execute arbitrary commands by exploiting unsafe eval functionality. Attackers can send POST requests to the submit.php endpoint with malicious PHP code in the action parameter to achieve code execution and obtain an interactive shell.
