A vulnerability, which was classified as critical, has been found in Triexa SonicMailer Pro up to 3.2.3 (Mail Server Software). This issue affects an unknown code block of the file index.php. The manipulation of the argument list with an unknown input leads to a sql injection vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-89. The product constructs all or part of an SQL command using externally-influenced input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special elements that could modify the intended SQL command when it is sent to a downstream component. SQL injection vulnerability in index.php in Triexa SonicMailer Pro 3.2.3 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands via the list parameter in an archive action.
The weakness was shared 03/11/2007 by ajann (Website). It is possible to read the advisory at vupen.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2007-1425 since 03/12/2007. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation. Technical details as well as a public exploit are known. The attack technique deployed by this issue is T1505 according to MITRE ATT&CK.
