A vulnerability has been found in AssetMan 2.4a and classified as problematic. Affected by this vulnerability is an unknown function of the file download_pdf.php. The manipulation of the argument pdf_file with an unknown input leads to a path traversal vulnerability. The CWE definition for the vulnerability is CWE-22. The product uses external input to construct a pathname that is intended to identify a file or directory that is located underneath a restricted parent directory, but the product does not properly neutralize special elements within the pathname that can cause the pathname to resolve to a location that is outside of the restricted directory. Directory traversal vulnerability in download_pdf.php in AssetMan 2.4a and earlier allows remote attackers to read arbitrary files via a .. (dot dot) in the pdf_file parameter.
