This vulnerability affects the function ahsc_ajax_reset_options of the component Setting Handler. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a cross-site request forgery vulnerability. The Aruba HiSpeed Cache plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Cross-Site Request Forgery in all versions up to, and including, 3.0.4. This is due to missing nonce verification on the `ahsc_ajax_reset_options()` function. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to reset all plugin settings to their default values via a forged request granted they can trick a site administrator into performing an action such as clicking on a link.
The weakness was released by Abhirup Konwar. The advisory is shared for download at wordfence.com. This vulnerability was named CVE-2026-1924 since 02/04/2026. The exploitation appears to be easy. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation. Successful exploitation requires user interaction by the victim.
