A vulnerability, which was classified as problematic, has been found in OpenClaw up to 2026.3.24. Affected by this issue is the function session_status of the component Restrictions Handler. OpenClaw versions 2026.3.11 through 2026.3.24 contain a session isolation bypass vulnerability where session_status resolves sessionId to canonical session keys before enforcing visibility checks. Sandboxed child sessions can exploit this to access parent or sibling sessions that should be blocked by explicit sessionKey restrictions.
The weakness was published by KeenSecurityLab as GHSA-q2qc-744p-66r2. The advisory is shared for download at github.com. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2026-35636 since 04/04/2026.
