Details
A vulnerability was found in OpenClaw up to 2026.3.30 and classified as problematic. Affected by this issue is an unknown code block. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a state distinction vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-372. The product does not properly determine which state it is in, causing it to assume it is in state X when in fact it is in state Y, causing it to perform incorrect operations in a security-relevant manner. Impacted is confidentiality. CVE summarizes:
OpenClaw before 2026.3.31 contains a trust-decline vulnerability that preserves attacker-discovered endpoints in remote onboarding flows. Attackers can route gateway credentials to malicious endpoints by having their discovered URL survive the trust decline process into manual prompts requiring operator acceptance.
The weakness was disclosed by KeenSecurityLab as GHSA-9f4w-67g7-mqwv. The advisory is shared for download at github.com. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2026-41300 since 04/20/2026.
