A vulnerability has been found in OpenClaw up to 2026.3.30 and classified as critical. This vulnerability affects some unknown processing of the component Telegram Legacy Handler. OpenClaw before 2026.3.31 contains an authentication boundary vulnerability where Telegram legacy allowFrom migration incorrectly fans default-account trust into all named accounts. Attackers can exploit this trust propagation to bypass authentication controls and gain unauthorized access to named accounts.
The weakness was disclosed by KeenSecurityLab as GHSA-f693-58pc-2gfr. The advisory is available at github.com. This vulnerability was named CVE-2026-41340 since 04/20/2026. The exploitation appears to be easy. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation.
