Details
A vulnerability, which was classified as critical, has been found in HBAI-Ltd Toonflow-app up to 1.1.1. Affected by this issue is the function z.url of the file src/routes/setting/about/downloadApp.ts of the component downloadApp Endpoint. The manipulation of the argument url with an unknown input leads to a path traversal vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-22. The product uses external input to construct a pathname that is intended to identify a file or directory that is located underneath a restricted parent directory, but the product does not properly neutralize special elements within the pathname that can cause the pathname to resolve to a location that is outside of the restricted directory. Impacted is confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
The advisory is shared for download at github.com. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2026-7085. The exploitation is known to be difficult. The attack may be launched remotely.
