A vulnerability was found in Really Simple PHP and Ajax 2007-03-23 (Programming Language Software) and classified as critical. Affected by this issue is some unknown functionality of the file controller_v4.php. The manipulation of the argument __class with an unknown input leads to a path traversal vulnerability. Multiple directory traversal vulnerabilities in Really Simple PHP and Ajax (RSPA) 2007-03-23 allow remote attackers to include and execute arbitrary local files via a .. (dot dot) in the __class parameter to (1) Controller_v4.php or (2) Controller_v5.php.

The weakness was released 04/03/2007 by Hamid Ebadi (Website). The advisory is shared for download at vupen.com. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2007-1851 since 04/03/2007. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be launched remotely. No form of authentication is required for exploitation. Technical details as well as a public exploit are known.
