A vulnerability was found in jsbroks COCO Annotator up to 0.11.1 and classified as problematic. This issue affects an unknown code of the file backend/webserver/api/datasets.py of the component Data Endpoint. The manipulation of the argument folder with an unknown input leads to a path traversal vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-22. The product uses external input to construct a pathname that is intended to identify a file or directory that is located underneath a restricted parent directory, but the product does not properly neutralize special elements within the pathname that can cause the pathname to resolve to a location that is outside of the restricted directory.
