A vulnerability was found in chcounter 3.1.3 and classified as problematic. This issue affects an unknown code block. The manipulation of the argument login_name with an unknown input leads to a cross site scripting vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-80. The product receives input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special characters such as "<", ">", and "&" that could be interpreted as web-scripting elements when they are sent to a downstream component that processes web pages. Cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in chcounter 3.1.3 allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the login_name parameter to /stats/.
