A vulnerability was found in OpenClaw up to 2026.4.19. It has been rated as critical. This issue affects the function uploadC2CMedia/uploadGroupMedia. The web server receives a URL or similar request from an upstream component and retrieves the contents of this URL, but it does not sufficiently ensure that the request is being sent to the expected destination. OpenClaw before 2026.4.20 contains a server-side request forgery vulnerability in QQBot direct media upload that skips URL validation. Attackers can bypass SSRF protections by sending crafted image URLs to uploadC2CMedia and uploadGroupMedia endpoints to relay unintended requests.
