CVSS Meta Temp Score
CVSS is a standardized scoring system to determine possibilities of attacks. The Temp Score considers temporal factors like disclosure, exploit and countermeasures. The unique Meta Score calculates the average score of different sources to provide a normalized scoring system.
Current Exploit Price (≈)
Our analysts are monitoring exploit markets and are in contact with vulnerability brokers. The range indicates the observed or calculated exploit price to be seen on exploit markets. A good indicator to understand the monetary effort required for and the popularity of an attack.
CTI Interest Score
Our Cyber Threat Intelligence team is monitoring different web sites, mailing lists, exploit markets and social media networks. The CTI Interest Score identifies the interest of attackers and the security community for this specific vulnerability in real-time. A high score indicates an elevated risk to be targeted for this vulnerability.

Detailsinfo

A vulnerability has been found in CashDro Administration Panel 24.01.00.26 and classified as problematic. This vulnerability affects some unknown functionality. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a weak credentials vulnerability. The CWE definition for the vulnerability is CWE-1391. The product uses weak credentials (such as a default key or hard-coded password) that can be calculated, derived, reused, or guessed by an attacker. As an impact it is known to affect confidentiality, and availability. CVE summarizes:

Weak credentials in the CashDro 3 web administration panel, version 24.01.00.26, where the platform allows the use of numeric PINs for user authentication. The system supports the use of PIN-based credentials, maintaining compatibility with POS software integrations deployed since 2012. This could allow an attacker to easily perform a brute-force attack against a user and gain access by trying different PINs without the account being locked. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability could result in unauthorized access to confidential configuration settings, compromising the security of the system.

The weakness was released by Pedro Gabaldón Juliá, Javier Medina Munuera, David Montoro Aguilera, Javier Ayala Ortín and Pedro Castillo Torío. The advisory is shared for download at incibe.es. This vulnerability was named CVE-2026-8076 since 05/07/2026. The exploitation appears to be difficult. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation. There are neither technical details nor an exploit publicly available. The current price for an exploit might be approx.
