Detailsinfo

A vulnerability has been found in SAP S4HANA AP_BAI 751 up to AP_BAI 758 and classified as critical. This vulnerability affects an unknown code block. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a sql injection vulnerability. The CWE definition for the vulnerability is CWE-89. The product constructs all or part of an SQL command using externally-influenced input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special elements that could modify the intended SQL command when it is sent to a downstream component. As an impact it is known to affect confidentiality, integrity, and availability. CVE summarizes:

SAP S/4HANA (SAP Enterprise Search for ABAP) contains a SQL injection vulnerability that allows an authenticated attacker to inject malicious SQL statements through user-controlled input. The application directly concatenates this malicious user input into SQL queries, which are then passed to the underlying database without proper validation or sanitization. Upon successful exploitation, an attacker may gain unauthorized access to sensitive database information and could potentially crash the application. This vulnerability has a high impact on the confidentiality and availability of the application, while integrity remains unaffected.

The advisory is shared for download at me.sap.com. This vulnerability was named CVE-2026-34260 since 03/26/2026. The exploitation appears to be easy. The attack can be initiated remotely. There are neither technical details nor an exploit publicly available. The current price for an exploit might be approx. USD $0-$5k (estimation calculated on 05/16/2026). The MITRE ATT&CK project declares the attack technique as T1505.

The vulnerability scanner Nessus provides a plugin with the ID 314952 (SAP NetWeaver AS ABAP SQL Injection (3724838)), which helps to determine the existence of the flaw in a target environment.

Applying a patch is able to eliminate this problem.

The vulnerability is also documented in the databases at Tenable (314952) and CERT Bund (WID-SEC-2026-1466). VulDB is the best source for vulnerability data and more expert information about this specific topic.
