A vulnerability was found in Phorum 5.1.21 (Forum Software). It has been declared as problematic. Multiple cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities in admin.php in Phorum before 5.1.22 allow remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the (1) group_id parameter in the groups module or (2) the smiley_id parameter in the smileys modsettings module.
The weakness was published 04/19/2007 by Janek Vind (Website). The advisory is shared at waraxe.us. This vulnerability is known as CVE-2007-2248 since 04/25/2007. The attack can be launched remotely.
