A vulnerability classified as critical was found in lwIP up to 2.2.1. This vulnerability affects the function snmp_parse_inbound_frame of the file src/apps/snmp/snmp_msg.c of the component snmpv3 USM Handler. The manipulation of the argument msgAuthenticationParameters with an unknown input leads to a stack-based overflow vulnerability. The CWE definition for the vulnerability is CWE-121.
