The weakness was disclosed 05/04/2007 by GoLd_M (Website). The advisory is shared for download at milw0rm.com. This vulnerability was named CVE-2007-2540 since 05/08/2007. The exploitation appears to be easy. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation. Technical details and also a public exploit are known.
