Details
A vulnerability, which was classified as problematic, has been found in Symfony (version unknown). This issue affects the function Parser::cleanup of the component YAML Parser. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a redos vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-1333. The product uses a regular expression with an inefficient, possibly exponential worst-case computational complexity that consumes excessive CPU cycles. Impacted is availability.
