CVSS Meta Temp Score
CVSS is a standardized scoring system to determine possibilities of attacks. The Temp Score considers temporal factors like disclosure, exploit and countermeasures. The unique Meta Score calculates the average score of different sources to provide a normalized scoring system.
Current Exploit Price (≈)
Our analysts are monitoring exploit markets and are in contact with vulnerability brokers. The range indicates the observed or calculated exploit price to be seen on exploit markets. A good indicator to understand the monetary effort required for and the popularity of an attack.
CTI Interest Score
Our Cyber Threat Intelligence team is monitoring different web sites, mailing lists, exploit markets and social media networks. The CTI Interest Score identifies the interest of attackers and the security community for this specific vulnerability in real-time. A high score indicates an elevated risk to be targeted for this vulnerability.

Detailsinfo

A vulnerability was found in MISP up to 2.5.38. It has been declared as problematic. Affected by this vulnerability is an unknown functionality of the component Dashboard. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a redirect vulnerability. The CWE definition for the vulnerability is CWE-601. A web application accepts a user-controlled input that specifies a link to an external site, and uses that link in a Redirect. This simplifies phishing attacks. As an impact it is known to affect integrity. The summary by CVE is:

A URL validation flaw in the MISP dashboard button widget allowed a crafted relative-looking URL to be accepted as a local path while being interpreted by browsers as an external URL. The validation rejected URLs containing an explicit scheme, host, or user component, but did not reject paths beginning with a slash followed by a backslash, such as /\example.com. Some browsers normalize backslashes in URLs as forward slashes, which can turn this into a scheme-relative external navigation target. In addition, the generated href concatenated the reconstructed URL with the original URL, increasing the possibility of unsafe or malformed link generation. An attacker able to configure or influence a dashboard button URL could craft a button that appears to point inside the application but redirects users to an attacker-controlled site when clicked. This could be used for phishing, credential theft, or social engineering. The patch fixes the issue by rejecting empty paths and paths starting with /\, and by emitting only the reconstructed validated URL in the anchor href.

The weakness was released by Jeroen Pinoy as f879f16fb5db7a9aab0a70fdcafea12ce4847e9a. The advisory is shared at github.com. This vulnerability is known as CVE-2026-10856 since 06/04/2026. The exploitation appears to be easy. The attack can be launched remotely. The exploitation needs additional levels of successful authentication. It demands that the victim is doing some kind of user interaction. Neither technical details nor an exploit are publicly available. MITRE ATT&CK project uses the attack technique T1204.001 for this issue.

Applying a patch is able to eliminate this problem.
