Details
A vulnerability classified as critical has been found in Altium Enterprise Server and 365 up to 8.1.0. This affects an unknown code of the component GraphQL Service. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a server-side request forgery vulnerability. CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-918. The web server receives a URL or similar request from an upstream component and retrieves the contents of this URL, but it does not sufficiently ensure that the request is being sent to the expected destination. This is going to have an impact on confidentiality, integrity, and availability. The summary by CVE is:
A server-side request forgery (SSRF) vulnerability exists in a GraphQL service component shared by Altium Enterprise Server and Altium 365. An authenticated user can submit a request whose input is treated as a URL by the server and used to issue an outbound HTTP GET request without URL validation or destination filtering. The response body is then returned to the user. This allows an authenticated attacker to reach internal services and metadata endpoints that would not otherwise be accessible from the public network, and to retrieve their contents. The impact is information disclosure and internal infrastructure reconnaissance; the request primitive is limited to HTTP GET with no custom headers. Altium Enterprise Server is fixed in 8.1.1; the issue has been remediated in Altium 365 at the service level.
The weakness was shared by Joris Aerts with Tesla Inc.. The advisory is shared at altium.com. This vulnerability is uniquely identified as CVE-2026-11424 since 06/05/2026. The exploitability is told to be easy. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely. Neither technical details nor an exploit are publicly available.
Upgrading to version 8.1.1 eliminates this vulnerability.
