A vulnerability was found in Bolt CMS up to 3.7.5 and classified as problematic. The manipulation of the argument style with an unknown input leads to a html injection vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-80. The product receives input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special characters such as "<", ">", and "&" that could be interpreted as web-scripting elements when they are sent to a downstream component that processes web pages. Impacted is integrity.

The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2026-11511. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be initiated remotely.
