A vulnerability was found in ETHER Catalyst::Plugin::Authentication up to 0.10_026 on Perl. It has been classified as critical. This affects some unknown functionality of the component Session ID Cookie Handler. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a session fixiation vulnerability. Catalyst::Plugin::Authentication versions before 0.10_027 for Perl is susceptible to session fixation attacks. Catalyst::Plugin::Authentication does not automatically change the session id after authentication. An attacker that obtains a session id cookie can use this to impersonate the victim.
