A vulnerability was found in Evenzia Evenzia CMS (Content Management System) (version now known) and classified as problematic. This issue affects some unknown processing of the file includes/send.inc.php. The manipulation of the argument PATH_INFO with an unknown input leads to a cross site scripting vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-80. The product receives input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special characters such as "<", ">", and "&" that could be interpreted as web-scripting elements when they are sent to a downstream component that processes web pages. Cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in includes/send.inc.php in Evenzia CMS allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the PATH_INFO.
The weakness was published 06/01/2007 by Glafkos Charalambous (Website). The advisory is shared at archives.neohapsis.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2007-2991 since 06/04/2007. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation. It demands that the victim is doing some kind of user interaction.
