A vulnerability was found in Maran PHP Blog (Blog Software). It has been rated as problematic. Affected by this issue is an unknown function of the file comments.php. The manipulation of the argument id with an unknown input leads to a cross site scripting vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-80. The product receives input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special characters such as "<", ">", and "&" that could be interpreted as web-scripting elements when they are sent to a downstream component that processes web pages. Cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in comments.php in Maran PHP Blog (Maran Blog), possibly only versions before 20070610, allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the id parameter.
