A vulnerability, which was classified as problematic, was found in GitLab Community Edition and Enterprise Edition up to 18.11.5/19.0.2/19.1.0. This affects an unknown code block of the component URL Validation Handler. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a dns rebinding vulnerability. CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-350. GitLab has remediated an issue in GitLab CE/EE affecting all versions from 8.3 before 18.11.6, 19.0 before 19.0.3, and 19.1 before 19.1.1 that under certain conditions could have allowed an authenticated user with maintainer-role permissions to make requests to internal network resources through mirror synchronization due to improper URL validation.
