Details
A vulnerability was found in pretix up to 2026.3.3/2026.4.3/2026.5.1. It has been declared as problematic. This vulnerability affects an unknown function. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a cross site scripting vulnerability. The CWE definition for the vulnerability is CWE-80. The product receives input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special characters such as "<", ">", and "&" that could be interpreted as web-scripting elements when they are sent to a downstream component that processes web pages. As an impact it is known to affect integrity. CVE summarizes:
Content injected to PDF rendering contexts could, in many places, include HTML content including tags. If the src attribute of these images pointed to an URL, the PDF rendering engine would download the image from that place and display it, thereby leaking information about the rendering server and possibly creating an SSRF vector in the local network.
