A vulnerability, which was classified as problematic, has been found in Php-nuke Satel Lite (Content Management System) (the affected version unknown). This issue affects an unknown part of the file satellite.php of the component modload. The manipulation of the argument name with an unknown input leads to a path traversal vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-22. The product uses external input to construct a pathname that is intended to identify a file or directory that is located underneath a restricted parent directory, but the product does not properly neutralize special elements within the pathname that can cause the pathname to resolve to a location that is outside of the restricted directory. Directory traversal vulnerability in Satellite.php in Satel Lite for PhpNuke allows remote attackers to read arbitrary files via a .. (dot dot) sequence in the name parameter in a modload action.
