iPAddress name constraints bypass when WOLFSSL_IP_ALT_NAME is not defined. IP address name constraints are not enforced in that configuration, allowing a certificate to bypass an issuing CA's IP address constraints.
The weakness was released by Ankur Tyagi. It is possible to read the advisory at github.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2026-7532 since 04/30/2026. The exploitation is known to be difficult. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation.
