A vulnerability, which was classified as problematic, has been found in GTERMARS CSS::Minifier::XS up to 0.13 on Perl. This issue affects the function minify. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a memory leak vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-401. The product does not sufficiently track and release allocated memory after it has been used, which slowly consumes remaining memory. Impacted is availability. The summary by CVE is:
CSS::Minifier::XS versions before 0.14 for Perl have a memory leak when the entire document is minified away. The minify function has a memory leak when processing a document containing only characters to be removed, such as comments and whitespace.
