CVSS Meta Temp Score
CVSS is a standardized scoring system to determine possibilities of attacks. The Temp Score considers temporal factors like disclosure, exploit and countermeasures. The unique Meta Score calculates the average score of different sources to provide a normalized scoring system.
Current Exploit Price (≈)
Our analysts are monitoring exploit markets and are in contact with vulnerability brokers. The range indicates the observed or calculated exploit price to be seen on exploit markets. A good indicator to understand the monetary effort required for and the popularity of an attack.
CTI Interest Score
Our Cyber Threat Intelligence team is monitoring different web sites, mailing lists, exploit markets and social media networks. The CTI Interest Score identifies the interest of attackers and the security community for this specific vulnerability in real-time. A high score indicates an elevated risk to be targeted for this vulnerability.

Detailsinfo

A vulnerability has been found in HKUDS DeepTutor up to 1.4.9 and classified as critical. Affected by this vulnerability is the function allowed_mcp_tools of the file deeptutor/multi_user/tool_access.py. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a authorization vulnerability. The CWE definition for the vulnerability is CWE-862. The product does not perform an authorization check when an actor attempts to access a resource or perform an action. As an impact it is known to affect confidentiality, integrity, and availability. The summary by CVE is:

DeepTutor before version 1.4.10 contains an authorization bypass vulnerability that allows low-privilege users to invoke unrestricted MCP tools due to the allowed_mcp_tools function returning None instead of a denied result when mcp_tools is omitted from a user's grant in deeptutor/multi_user/tool_access.py. Attackers or prompt-injected content acting within a user session can enumerate and invoke any configured MCP tool, including filesystem, shell, and browser servers, gaining unauthorized access to sensitive deployment resources.
