Detailsinfo

A vulnerability was found in Frangoteam FUXA SCADA HMI up to 1.3.1 and classified as critical. Affected by this issue is some unknown processing of the file /api/project of the component REST API. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a authentication spoofing vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-290. This attack-focused weakness is caused by incorrectly implemented authentication schemes that are subject to spoofing attacks. Impacted is confidentiality. CVE summarizes:

FUXA versions 1.3.1 and prior contain an authentication bypass vulnerability via dot-segment path normalization in the REST API. The API router fails to normalize dot-segment sequences before applying authentication middleware, allowing unauthenticated requests to access protected endpoints by prefixing paths with dot-segments such as /api/./users, /api/./roles, and /api/project/../users. These requests bypass authentication checks and return sensitive user and role data without credentials.

The weakness was presented with Cited Relevance LLC. The advisory is available at github.com. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2026-13207 since 06/24/2026. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be launched remotely. No form of authentication is required for exploitation. Technical details are known, but there is no available exploit.

Upgrading to version 1.3.2 eliminates this vulnerability.
