A vulnerability classified as critical was found in guardian language-system (affected version unknown). Affected by this vulnerability is the function exec of the file translate.php. The manipulation of the argument id with an unknown input leads to a os command injection vulnerability. The CWE definition for the vulnerability is CWE-78. The product constructs all or part of an OS command using externally-influenced input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special elements that could modify the intended OS command when it is sent to a downstream component. Guardian language-system passes the id GET parameter directly into a PHP exec() call in translate.php (line 14) without sanitization: exec(\"php jobs/translate.php \".$login_session.\" \".$_GET['id'].\" ...\"). No authentication is required. An unauthenticated remote attacker can append shell metacharacters to execute arbitrary OS commands on the server.
The weakness was disclosed by philopentest. It is possible to read the advisory at gist.github.com. This vulnerability is known as CVE-2026-34107 since 03/25/2026. The exploitation appears to be easy. The attack can be launched remotely. The exploitation doesn't need any form of authentication. Technical details of the vulnerability are known, but there is no available exploit. The attack technique deployed by this issue is T1202 according to MITRE ATT&CK.
