Details
A vulnerability classified as critical has been found in guardian language-system (the affected version is unknown). Affected is the function exec of the file speech.php. The manipulation of the argument id with an unknown input leads to a os command injection vulnerability. CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-78. The product constructs all or part of an OS command using externally-influenced input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special elements that could modify the intended OS command when it is sent to a downstream component. This is going to have an impact on confidentiality, integrity, and availability. CVE summarizes:
Guardian language-system passes the id GET parameter directly into a PHP exec() call in speech.php (line 18) without sanitization: exec(\"php jobs/speech_audio.php \".$login_session.\" \".$_GET['id'].\" ...\"). No authentication is required. An unauthenticated remote attacker can append shell metacharacters to execute arbitrary OS commands on the server.
