Details
A vulnerability has been found in guardian language-system (affected version unknown) and classified as critical. This vulnerability affects the function exec of the file speech_text.php. The manipulation of the argument id with an unknown input leads to a os command injection vulnerability. The CWE definition for the vulnerability is CWE-78. The product constructs all or part of an OS command using externally-influenced input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special elements that could modify the intended OS command when it is sent to a downstream component. As an impact it is known to affect confidentiality, integrity, and availability. CVE summarizes:
Guardian language-system passes the id GET parameter directly into a PHP exec() call in speech_text.php (line 18) without sanitization: exec(\"php jobs/speech_audio_text.php \".$login_session.\" \".$_GET['id'].\" ...\"). No authentication is required. An unauthenticated remote attacker can append shell metacharacters to execute arbitrary OS commands on the server.
The weakness was presented by philopentest. The advisory is shared for download at gist.github.com. This vulnerability was named CVE-2026-34113 since 03/25/2026. The exploitation appears to be easy. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation. There are known technical details, but no exploit is available.
