Details
A vulnerability classified as problematic has been found in CloudFoundry bosh-cli up to 7.10.3. This affects some unknown functionality of the component SSH Options Handler. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a argument injection vulnerability. CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-88. The product constructs a string for a command to be executed by a separate component
in another control sphere, but it does not properly delimit the
intended arguments, options, or switches within that command string. This is going to have an impact on confidentiality, integrity, and availability. The summary by CVE is:
Argument Injection in bosh-cli allows a compromised BOSH Director to inject arbitrary OpenSSH options into the locally-spawned ssh process when an operator runs bosh ssh -c, bosh logs -f, or other non-interactive SSH paths, leading to local command execution on the operator's workstation. Affected versions: bosh-cli versions prior to v7.10.4.
