A vulnerability classified as problematic was found in SOPlanning up to 1.56.0. This vulnerability affects an unknown functionality of the component Audit Retention Configuration. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a sql injection vulnerability. The CWE definition for the vulnerability is CWE-89. The product constructs all or part of an SQL command using externally-influenced input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special elements that could modify the intended SQL command when it is sent to a downstream component. As an impact it is known to affect confidentiality, integrity, and availability. CVE summarizes:
SOPlanning is vulnerable to SQL injection in the audit retention configuration. An attacker holding parameters_all rights can inject SQL commands into the audit configuration form which is then saved. The execution is triggered when the audit functionality is accessed (by the attacker or another user). This issue was fixed in version 1.56.01.
The advisory is available at cert.pl. This vulnerability was named CVE-2026-50644 since 06/05/2026. The exploitation appears to be easy. The attack can be initiated remotely.
