CVSS Meta Temp Score
CVSS is a standardized scoring system to determine possibilities of attacks. The Temp Score considers temporal factors like disclosure, exploit and countermeasures. The unique Meta Score calculates the average score of different sources to provide a normalized scoring system.
Current Exploit Price (≈)
Our analysts are monitoring exploit markets and are in contact with vulnerability brokers. The range indicates the observed or calculated exploit price to be seen on exploit markets. A good indicator to understand the monetary effort required for and the popularity of an attack.
CTI Interest Score
Our Cyber Threat Intelligence team is monitoring different web sites, mailing lists, exploit markets and social media networks. The CTI Interest Score identifies the interest of attackers and the security community for this specific vulnerability in real-time. A high score indicates an elevated risk to be targeted for this vulnerability.

Detailsinfo

A vulnerability was found in ST Engineering iDirect Evolution iQ-Series terminals, 3315-Series and 9-Series Terminals up to 4.5.2.1. It has been declared as problematic. This vulnerability affects the function reboot of the file /api/reboot of the component API endpoint. The manipulation of the argument SameSite with an unknown input leads to a cross-site request forgery vulnerability. The CWE definition for the vulnerability is CWE-352. The web application does not, or can not, sufficiently verify whether a well-formed, valid, consistent request was intentionally provided by the user who submitted the request. As an impact it is known to affect integrity. CVE summarizes:

The iDirect iQ200 does not validate CSRF tokens on state-changing API endpoints after authentication. The /api/reboot endpoint accepts POST requests authenticated solely by a session cookie that lacks the SameSite attribute. A remote attacker can host a malicious web page that, when visited by an authenticated administrator, automatically submits a cross-site POST request causing an immediate device reboot and satellite link loss. Repeated attacks can sustain a denial-of-service condition.

The advisory is available at cisa.gov. This vulnerability was named CVE-2026-38057 since 04/06/2026. The exploitation appears to be easy. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation. Successful exploitation requires user interaction by the victim. Technical details are known, but there is no available exploit.
