CVSS Meta Temp Score
CVSS is a standardized scoring system to determine possibilities of attacks. The Temp Score considers temporal factors like disclosure, exploit and countermeasures. The unique Meta Score calculates the average score of different sources to provide a normalized scoring system.
Current Exploit Price (≈)
Our analysts are monitoring exploit markets and are in contact with vulnerability brokers. The range indicates the observed or calculated exploit price to be seen on exploit markets. A good indicator to understand the monetary effort required for and the popularity of an attack.
CTI Interest Score
Our Cyber Threat Intelligence team is monitoring different web sites, mailing lists, exploit markets and social media networks. The CTI Interest Score identifies the interest of attackers and the security community for this specific vulnerability in real-time. A high score indicates an elevated risk to be targeted for this vulnerability.

Detailsinfo

A vulnerability classified as critical has been found in Symfony up to 5.4.51/6.4.39/7.4.11/8.0.11. This affects an unknown functionality of the component Mime. The manipulation of the argument name with an unknown input leads to a crlf injection vulnerability. CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-93. The product uses CRLF (carriage return line feeds) as a special element, e.g. to separate lines or records, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes CRLF sequences from inputs. This is going to have an impact on confidentiality, integrity, and availability. The summary by CVE is:

Symfony is a PHP framework for web and console applications and a set of reusable PHP components. Prior to 5.4.52, 6.4.40, 7.4.12, and 8.0.12, Symfony\Component\Mime\Header\ParameterizedHeader validates and encodes parameter values but emits parameter names verbatim, allowing a caller that derives a parameter name from untrusted input to include CRLF or other non-token bytes and inject additional headers into rendered structured mail headers such as Content-Type or Content-Disposition. This issue is reported as fixed in versions 5.4.52, 6.4.40, 7.4.12, and 8.0.12.

It is possible to read the advisory at github.com. This vulnerability is uniquely identified as CVE-2026-45070 since 05/08/2026. The exploitability is told to be easy. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely. No form of authentication is needed for exploitation. Technical details of the vulnerability are known, but there is no available exploit.

Upgrading to version 5.4.52, 6.4.40, 7.4.12 or 8.0.12 eliminates this vulnerability.
